Shakespeare @ the castle

by 3arn0wl

The Shakespeare Amateur Dramatics Society are delighted to present a series of four plays:

The comedy of errors

Much ado about nothing

Romeo & Juliet

All’s well that ends well

Bring a rug, a picnic and a bottle of Lord Rupert’s finest,  and enjoy some Shakespeare in the grounds of the Castle this Summer.

Making a good impression

by 3arn0wl

Sonographer, and part-time caricature artist Willy Lord recently joined the Shakespeare Amateur Dramatics Society.

Unfortunately, following an excellent début performance as the lead in An Inspector Calls, he’s been arrested, and has found himself up in front of the beakJack Hughes-ed of impersonating a police officer.

Percy’s keen to find out just how good he is – his granddaughter’s birthday’s coming up,  and he wants some entertainment at the birthday party.

‘ello, ‘ello, ‘ello…

by 3arn0wl

Inspector Force and Sgt. John Constable were rather busy yesterday… watching reality t.v.. :/

They’d been reviewing the latest CCTV images,  and witnessed an intricate scam involving two sets of identical twins operating in the Market Square,  Poppleton.

It seems that there were two cases of ABH, an accusation of default payment to a jeweller and the possible theft of a substantial amount of money.

On further investigation however they found that the whole series of events had been orchestrated by a troupe of actors,  as a set of flash-mob adverts for their performances of Shakespeare @ the castle.
