The Beau Street Runners were out early this morning – there was talk of it being a tight race, but Noah Wan’s generously winning by a country mile;
There’s canvassing and kisses planned as ᗡႱ & JD are intent on their first weekend away together;
Millie Boinet’s in the middle of her Art Practical – predictions are that she’ll do really well; and
Prue Vidor’s in party mode – she wants to let her hair down, and she knows just The Place to do it.
And Ellie Wan asked “How’s Roger Moore done in the local erections?”

Many considered Millie Boinet quite courageous for daring to don her stovepipe hat regardless of the taunts she knew she’d attract. Justin thought the design of tessellating leeks and daffodils was simply wonderful.
The children of Little Sniffy CofE Primary School were busy digging up leeks from the school gardens, ready for a special lunch. Rose Wood thought the daffodils looked really pretty too, so she picked some to put on the dinner tables.
And Inspector Force caught Garry Baldie red handed in the allotments, taking a leek. I wonder what Percy will make of that!

Well, it’s all a bit complicated really!
Ever since the pantomime, it’s been no secret that Justin Case’s got a huge crush on Millie Boinet – something she’s done her best to discourage. But it’s less well-known, that ever since she arrived at the school at the beginning of the year, Justin’s friend Oli has been massively in love with him.
At some point Millie’s best friend, Maria, decided that it might be good sport to tell that dullard in the rugger team that he might be in with a chance with the fragrant Millie if he wore the silliest of lime green toppers as a fashion statement. This, mainly because she had the hots for the 1st team’s fly half. Phwoahhhh.
Now it came to pass that Oli’s older brother, Will, went to see the panto, mainly because Oli wanted to ‘support’ her friend, Justin. And would you believe it, he was spell-bound by Cinders.
How will it all turn out?

Moh and Juan were busy planting up a sharp triangle of Betula Jacquemontaii at the far end of the park. At Morning Coffee time, Juan opened his snap tin to find that the missus had put some home-baked Cattern Cakes in. He shared them with Moh.
Millie Boinet’s lunchtime fashion show at Poppleton High was going well. The audience found the hats she’d made, errr, fascinating! There were, of course, biscuits all round afterwards.
In the afternoon, Emily Appleby took some along to Alistair, and caught him singing to his flock! Honestly! Sometimes she thinks he cares more about those bloomin’ sheep than he does about her.
And The Spinners (Tribute) were playing at The Place for one night only.
But could Fred fix Catherine’s wheels?
