Dance of the stars

by 3arn0wl

Bill Wainwright had produced a wonderful series of stills, which had been planted at short intervals along the A440, such that, if you drove Westward at 40mph, it shows a pair of dancers performing a pirouette.

It was advertising a pro – (minor)sleb evening of ballroom and Latin American dancing at the leisure centre.

Staff at the leisure centre had erected a huge, illuminated star, which doubled as their contribution to Poppleton’s celebration of lights.  Undertaker, and St. Nick’s Acolyte, Paul Bearer, noticed it as he was going to evensong. As he stood at the town hall, the star looked as if it was standing over the stables at the Dew Drop Inn.
