Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum,

by 3arn0wl

It was hard to see amid the Winter’s snow, but the firemen gave their usual Friday afternoon performance in the bandstand, sparkling with Christmas lights, with cymbal, trump and tymbal, and with tender soothing flute.

Their heavenly music Floated o’er the little town of Poppleton, to wish poppletonians “A merry Christmas”.

And all ye faithful came and harkened, even though it was the bleak mid-winter, and the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even.
