With this ring…

by 3arn0wl

Trading had been quite slow on the craft market on Market Square, until Gerry Wainwright received an interesting and immediate commission…

Antonín Biskup had been to the Poppleton Auctions yesterday. The bidding had been brisk, but he’d managed to acquire two antique wedding rings not too expensively: one in yellow gold, the other formed from white.

He’d had the idea of crafting a matching pair of rings:  he wanted to braid two strands of the different coloured gold together.

It was a different proposition altogether from what Gerry was used to,  but she’d been fplaited to be asked.  As it happens she could do it straight away, given the imminence of the nuptials.  She’d give him a ring when the job was done.
