Crispin & Jonathan have been busy!

by 3arn0wl

There’s been a lot going on at Cox’s Farm, in the pretty hamlet of Lower Snodding:   there’s lots of fruit still left to pick, and then the lads clean it, crush it and press it!

The juice from the Bramley’s, Cox’s and Discovery’s is bottled up, and will be sold in local outlets immediately.  The cider apples go into demijohns, and will be squirreled away in the barns for a few weeks at 15℃ – fermenting into this year’s vintage cider.  And the patrons of the Flying Pig are eagerly awaiting the outcome of that!

“It’s been a bumper year,” said Crispin, over a glass of Scrum-P. “We’ve been hard pressed!”
