  2. Well, that kept me out of mischief for a while!

    I hope nothing crucial depends upon my speed or accuracy with this, but I have (with punctuation added):

    “There was a cross section of people standing at the Cenotaph on/at/-(?)
    eleven eleven eleven eleven:
    local veterans of the many conflicts from the second world war onwards,
    uniformed representatives from the services, a group of GCSE history students from Poppleton High,
    (some of whom wore white poppies) and town councillors.
    All of them laid wreaths as the fire brigade played Nimrod and When I am laid in Earth.
    Everyone took a few moments to reflect on the horrors of war during the two minutes silence and then the last post was sounded.”
